Tonight I went for my first run in a week but instead of facing the cold I decided to dust my gym card off and use it! The girls on reception cheered as I walked through the revolving doors. The walls were now red. There was new machines and new faces everywhere. Had I really not been here in that long?? Once the initial shock wore off I put my headphones in, turned on the treadmill and I was away…

It was so lovely to run inside and it was, if I do say so myself, a brilliant run. I managed to do 10k and it felt good!

Now these sub zero conditions have kicked in again I think that I will be using this gym membership A LOT more!!!

I will let you know how I get on!

I am officially a Mac Addict….

There I’ve said it!

It is so lovely to get it off my chest.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE more than anything the fun atmosphere that both the Mac shops and products have. The staff really strive to make what can be quite a daunting experience something that is enjoyable and stress free. It also helps that the products they are selling are as equally playful. On my wish list at the moment is the new Miss Piggy range, a set of false lashes, eye shadow and liner. Perfect for a night out!

My favorite product of theirs however is the Haute and Naughty Lash, £18. It has two brushes, one for a natural day look and one for fully loaded lashes. It means that I can keep it in my bag, start the day with a natural look then use the big brush to revamp for the evening.

Another product I couldn’t live without would be the Mineralize Skin Finish in Gold Deposit , £21.50. The finish it gives my face, day or night is quite simply beautiful. I would recommend this for anyone that strives for that sun kissed look the whole year!

Ahhhhhhhh!! Have just purchased my Benicassim tickets for this year!! It will be just me and the girls camping with thousands of others watching some amazing live music. Sorry what!? Go back a second! Camping? In Spain? With thousands of other people? NO. THANK. YOU!!

I will be going to Benni, what I will not be doing is camping. I could not think of anything worse than being in the heat for a week in a tent, no change of clothes for fear they will be stolen if I leave them and whats worse, public toilets and showers. The smell I can only imagine! Instead I will be staying in one of these:

No, its not a 5* hotel. Yes, it has bunk beds. But, what is more important, it has a shower and a toilet, just for us! 

So, while the rest of the festival will be getting down and dirty, we will be returning to our own little hut each night and returning refreshed and what is more important, clean, the next night. Go us!!

The cold side of the pillow on a Sunday morning is quite possibly the most amazing feeling ever. it is one of the few moments where there is complete stillness and a feeling of calm that is very rarely felt by people these days. I don’t know if its the feeling of the crisp white cotton on my face or just knowing that I don’t need to be out of bed anytime soon.  Either way, it is one of the small moments I truly treasure.

This particular Sunday I was joined for a rare lay in by my gorgeous boyfriend and for a brief second I swear I was in heaven. As his strong arm came across me and pulled me in one swift movement close in to his body. I could feel his hot breath on the back of my neck and then the words every girl loves to hear “Tea and toast babe?”. This is the moment I honestly knew we would be together forever. Its strange but sometimes it just take one of these rare moments of clarity to confirm what you always thought you knew. 

Its not like we were in a new relationship, we are well and truly past the honeymoon period but I honestly think that this is better. To be in a relationship and still want to be around them all the time. To be in a place where you can be yourself without any fear but still caring what they think about you enough to make an effort. We even started speaking about moving in together last night. This is a BIG DEAL! Scared of commitment would have been an understatement in years gone by. Not now however, now I see hope. I can really see our lives together, and what I see is a perfect one. 

So this Sunday was the best yet. The cold side of the pillow just one small touch on a perfect morning.
